Bachelor of technology is the four years graduation program equivalent to bachelor of engineering. Almost a half portion of the engineering colleges are offering this graduation program and the basic requirement is a higher secondary with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Indian Institute of Technologies is playing as the leading B.Tech Colleges in India while National Institute of Technology is the followings. Apart from that there are some regional engineering colleges enrolling the B.Tech education in India. Some of the colleges are giving both the B.E and B.Tech degrees simultaneously. For admission in any of the B.Tech College there are two procedures; direct admission and lateral entry admission. For direct admission you need to face any of the entrance examination held by the university or a body. To get the List of B.Tech entrance exams in India you need to go for internet searches. It will take 4 years to complete as you are enrolling your admission after higher secondary but for lateral entry admission you need a diploma in relevant trade. In this category you are directly enrolling yourself in second year and that is the reason you need 3 years to complete your B.Tech program. Companies are not differentiating B.E and B.Tech while recruiting the students. In general B.Tech Colleges in India are offering a package range of 2.4 to 3.6 lakhs per annum and that is a good start for the fresh graduates.

At present 16 IITs are leading engineering education in India in which 9 inaugurated newly (29008 and 2009) and they are IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Mandi, IIT Patna, IIT Jodhpur and IIT Ropar. B.Tech Colleges in Best Education
B.Tech colleges are playing a vast role to fulfill the requirements of aspirants. India is the largest producer of engineers as more and more people are getting interested towards this profession. Not only the education and degree, students are finding out their desired job profile after getting the B.Tech degree from any B.Tech college in India. To select a B.Tech college you need to focus out on three main priorities and they are the location, programs offered and the placement facilities given by training and placement department. If you are getting your enrollment in any top class engineering school like IITs or NITs you need not think about the location and placement facility because of the brand name they owned. But if you are not getting any of them don’t worry. Go for a good location and it automatically will give you a better placement. Take the example of B.Tech colleges in Noida; most of the colleges are giving 80 to 90% placement facility as the industrial area is fulfilling their requirements from these colleges. Some of the colleges are giving 100% also. So prefer a location which will give you a good connectivity and job opportunity. Apart from that the program is also necessary thing for your B.Tech admission. Some of the colleges only offer traditional programs like mechanical, civil and electrical while most of the colleges are focusing on modern programs like B.Tech in Mechatronics or B.Tech in lather technology. But it depends on your interest which one suit you best. Remember here your interest level matters for you to select a trade, not the college. After the completion of your B.Tech nobody is going to ask you about the college or its location but the program will be with you lifetime. For B.Tech admission 2013 you have to go through some entrance exams but if you are unable to achieve that go for management seats which needs some more money as the donation.
